A series of Socially Distanced Cruises have been announced to see in the Autumn on the John Bunyan Boat. The cruises are of one hour duration along the Embankment.

To ensure compliance with Social Distancing guidelines, there are restrictions on the capacity of the boat to 12 people, which means they can only accept bookings from parties of two or four people. Each party must be part of the same support bubble.

The wearing of a facemask or covering is compulsory on boarding the boat and throughout the duration of the trip. The volunteer crew will be wearing all appropriate PPE.  Passengers will be asked to queue at an appropriate distance while boarding.

The Cruises will run from Sovereigns Quay (close to Riverside Bedford) on:

Bank Holiday Monday, August 31, at 2pm and 3.30pm for an hours cruise along the Embankment.  Tickets for a party of two £14, or a party of four £26.

Every Thursday  and Sunday Afternoon in September and October at 2pm and 3.30pm. Tickets for a party of two £14, or a party of four £26.

Plus a Special Afternoon Tea Cruise on Wednesday, October 7, leaving Priory Marina at 2pm for a cruise along the River Great Ouse through Bedford before heading downstream to the Barns Hotel to enjoy a traditional afternoon tea. On leaving the hotel the boat returns directly to Priory Marina. Licensed bar available on board.
Party of two £52 / Party of four £100
