Fusion Lifestyle, the charity that works alongside Bedford Borough Council to operate leisure facilities in Bedford, has launched Fusion at Home offering free streamed classes to everyone to help keep local residents fit and well during lockdown.

With a timetable of free online fitness classes suitable for all abilities – with no equipment required – there’s something for everyone, from more advanced cardio classes like HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and Freestyle Combat through to the accessible Mature Stretch and Yoga for All.

There’s even a Gentle Postural Fitness class, perfect for home workers bent over their laptops all day.

The programme also includes classes like Movement4Life, that may be suitable for GP referral patients*, allowing them to work on their wellbeing while they’re at home.

The new Fusion at Home online platform offers Fusion members even more support in the form of mental wellbeing activities, nutrition guides and special offers from fitness providers including Les Mills, MyZone, Power Plate, Physical Company and Octane Fitness.

Anthony Cawley, Director of Operations at Fusion Lifestyle, said: “There has never been a more important time to look after the health and wellbeing of our communities and we want to make sure our members and local residents have the opportunity to benefit from our expert led classes while our centres are closed.

The offers and additional activities we are supplying to our members will help them keep active both physically and mentally.”
