The much anticipated Wixams Academy Sixth Form starts to come to life at an Open Event on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
Students can apply to join this brand new facility whether they are currently at the Academy, or studying GCSEs at another school in Bedford or Central Bedfordshire.
There will be 27 A-Levels on offer so that students can select the subject combinations of their choice.
The entry standards will be in line with the Academy’s high expectations of student achievement.
Parents successfully campaigned to ensure the Sixth Form opened in September 2022 and now they have the opportunity to sign up their 15 and 16-year-olds to join this new sixth form.

Wixams Academy will soon be undergoing building extensions to enable it to meet the rising demand for places.
Finances have now been agreed with relevant authorities. As year groups increase in size, this will further support the larger numbers required to offer wider A Level choices.
