Offices which form part of Bedford’s Harpur Centre in Horne Lane are being marketed for possible redevelopment.
Agents Kirkby Diamond (Bedford) are offering the property for £2.75m. In their sales literature they say that there is a possibility to redevelop the existing offices into up-market residential apartments.
Bedford Borough Council have granted permitted development for 29 apartments and for a rooftop extension to build another 10 residences.
The site would also make a prestigious head office complex of over 18,500 sq ft. There are 48 car parking spaces with the property.
