A woman pleaded guilty to burgling a 94-year-old in Bedford on Monday, June 13, 2022.

Adetayo George, 38, admitted breaking into the woman’s home in Ormesby Way on December 10, 2021, and stealing a handbag, a watch, a mobile phone, a purse containing £30 and a bank card.

George, of Ford End Road, Bedford, also pleaded guilty to four charges of fraud in relation to the victim’s Nat West bank card.

On the basis of plea submitted to Luton Crown Court, George said she did not push past the elderly woman.

Recorder Jason Beer remanded George, who is being held in a psychiatric unit, in custody.

He asked for psychiatric reports to be prepared. Sentencing is due on August 8.
