It doesn’t get much worse than this awful display from the Waders.

Normally the brief is to find something positive but I could only think that Biggleswade have conceded more goals than Thame have scored.

Biggleswade have scored nearly as many as Thame have conceded.

Until this match Thame had won one drawn three and lost eight. That about puts into perspective.

Yes, we have a long list of injuries. Yes, we had to travel 120 miles. Yes, we played Tuesday which is more than can be said for this match.

Short report? Oh yes, because we only had one meaningful shot on target, saved.

The only goal of the game came on 56 Ezra Anthonio-Forde on a break from the flank beat the keeper with a decisive cross shot.

With 34 to go, you had to believe but as the changes were made more desperation than necessity, the game plummeted new depths.

We can only hope that this was the bottom of our season’s performances, because now, the only way is up.
